I started my career with the U.S. Secret Service, then left to build tech startups. I've been on both sides of employment negotiations—as a founder hiring teams and as an employee negotiating complex contracts.
In 2024, I became an attorney because I kept seeing the same problem: tech workers negotiating severance packages and job offers alone against HR departments backed by legal teams.
